Preparation Steps
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Twist each strip of bacon as tightly as possible and place them in the air fryer basket. They can touch, but avoid overlapping them. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 6 to 10 minutes, or until desired crispiness is reached. The bacon will continue to crisp as it cools, so aim to pull it out slightly before your ultimate desired crispiness.
- Remove the cooked bacon from the air fryer and place it on paper towels to blot excess grease. This is also a good time to start the next batch if needed.
- Serve the bacon twists hot and fresh. They can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
