  • 1 pound Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 cups crumbled feta cheese
  • 5 units eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups panko crumbs
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese for topping
  • 0.25 cup chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cook macaroni in salted water according to package directions. Drain.
  3. Generously butter a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Combine cooked macaroni with feta cheese in the baking dish.
  5. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, and paprika.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the macaroni and feta, mixing gently.
  7. Melt butter in a skillet, add panko crumbs, and cook until golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle toasted crumbs over the top of the casserole and garnish with Parmesan and parsley.
  9. Bake for 35 minutes until set and golden on top.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
