  • 4 each apples (preferably granny smith or honeycrisp)
  • 12 oz caramel candies for dipping
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate melts
  • 0.5 cup milk chocolate melts
  • 12 oz Sprite to prevent apples from browning

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Core and slice the apples, then dip them quickly into Sprite to prevent browning.
  2. Melt the caramel candies in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  3. Melt white and milk chocolates separately using microwave, stirring every 30 seconds.
  4. Insert sticks into apple slices and dip into melted caramel, then dip into melted chocolates or drizzle as desired.
  5. Place dipped apples on a parchment-lined tray and allow to set then serve.
