Cherry Lime Ice Pops

Sweet summer cherries with a touch of lime make these easy, sweet popsicles a perfect treat on a hot summer day. Only 4 ingredients!

  • 1 lb cherries
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp fresh lime juice

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Stem the cherries and remove the pits.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cherries with the water, sugar, and lime juice, and cook until the cherries are very soft and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Puree the cherries and their liquid and put the mixture through a fine sieve.
  5. Pour into ice pop molds and freeze at least 2 hours.
