  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract, beating well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks before serving.
