  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 0.666 cup granulated sugar for cinnamon mixture
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, combine milk, vegetable oil, sour cream, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and fold until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix remaining sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  6. Pour one-third of batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with one-fourth of cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Repeat layering two more times, ending with cinnamon sugar topping.
  8. Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
