Sandwich Ingredients
  • 4 slices Bread White or wheat bread recommended
  • 0.5 lb Ham Thinly sliced
  • 4 slices Cheese Cheddar or Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Softened

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Layer the ham and cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
  4. Top with the remaining two slices of bread, butter-side up.
  5. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from skillet, cut in half, and serve immediately.
