  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
  5. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
