  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves finely minced
  • 0.5 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and dried thyme. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add lemon juice and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to reheat the chicken.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
