  • 0.75 cups unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix melted butter and sugar until well combined. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients and milk alternately, mixing until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into a prepared pie crust. Bake for 25 minutes, then let cool.
  5. Heat the remaining chocolate chips with a splash of heavy cream to make ganache. Pour over cooled pie.
