  • 0.5 cup Sanding sugar Any color, for rolling

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  2. Pour the sanding sugar into a small bowl.
  3. Break apart the cookie dough pieces and roll each one into the sanding sugar until coated.
  4. Place the sugared cookie dough balls about 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets.
  5. Bake for 12-16 minutes, or until the edges are light golden brown and the centers no longer look glossy.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the cookie sheets for 10 minutes before carefully transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
