  • 4 pounds apples e.g., Honeycrisp, Gala, or Fuji, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Crumble Topping
  • 0.75 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup whole wheat flour
  • 0.33 cup chopped almonds
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil melted
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a medium-sized baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice. Toss to coat the apples evenly.

  4. In a separate medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, chopped almonds, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and cinnamon for the topping. Mix until well combined and crumbly.
