  • 24 piece Italian-style meatballs
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices bread to serve AS base

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet.
  2. Heat meatballs in marinara sauce until warmed through.
  3. Spoon meatballs and sauce over bread slices evenly.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve hot.
