  • 1.5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.75 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1.25 cups unsalted butter room temperature
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips melted
  • 3 tablespoons Hershey’s dark cocoa powder
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup cookie crumbles

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare cupcake or cake pan with liners or grease well.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, oil, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cake to cool completely before frosting.
