  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 cups milk

  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cups hot water or brewed coffee

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease 8 ramekins or small baking cups.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter; stir until smooth.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Divide batter evenly into prepared ramekins.
  6. Pour hot water or coffee over the batter in each ramekin without stirring.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are set but the center still jiggles slightly.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar or with vanilla ice cream.
