Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 0.5 small onion minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1.3 lb 99% lean ground turkey
  • 0.5 cup oatmeal
  • 0.25 cup ketchup + 2 tbsp for glaze
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed onion, oatmeal, egg, 1/4 cup ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, marjoram, and salt. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into small loafs. Place the loafs on an ungreased baking sheet or in mini loaf pans.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of ketchup with the Worcestershire sauce to create a glaze. Brush this glaze over the top of each meatloaf.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the meatloaves rest for 5 minutes before serving.
