  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 15 oz pumpkin purée not pie filling
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 3.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon heaping
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 0.25 cup turbinado sugar

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Whisk eggs, oils, and sugar until smooth. Add pumpkin, milk, and water, whisk until combined.
  2. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until just combined.
  3. Divide batter into two 9x5 inch loaf pans lined with parchment paper. Bake for 35 minutes, then brush with melted butter, sprinkle with turbinado sugar, and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Cool slightly before slicing. Store in refrigerator.
