Preparation Steps
- Chop vegetables into 1 to 1.5 inch pieces and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine stew meat and flour and stir to coat.
- Set Instant Pot to Sauté and add butter. When melted, add meat and brown on all sides.
- Pour in beef broth, scraping the bottom to deglaze.
- Add potatoes, onion, carrots, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire, and tomato paste. Stir until incorporated.
- Lock lid and set to Stew mode for 35 minutes. Let pressure release naturally for about 15-20 minutes.
- Open the steam valve carefully and release pressure. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
