Preparation Steps
- Whisk together all the ingredients (except the beef) and add to the bottom of a slow cooker. Add the chuck roast. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until very tender. Remove roast and shred with a fork, then return to the juices.
- Serve the shredded beef warm. The gravy is delicious served over mashed potatoes or in sandwiches.

This shredded beef is incredibly versatile! Serve it on hoagie rolls for sandwiches, over mashed potatoes, or with rice. Leftovers make great tacos or quesadillas.
