Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 425°F, optionally with a baking stone.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 Tbsp. of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, sauté for 1 minute per side, then set aside.
- Add remaining 2 Tbsp. olive oil to the skillet. Sauté onions for 5 minutes until translucent, add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Deglaze with wine, then add tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and oregano. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Spread the sauce on the rolled-out pizza dough, sprinkle half of the mozzarella evenly, then layer with cooked shrimp, and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly. Garnish with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese before serving.
