  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheese

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare bell peppers by cutting off the tops and removing seeds and membranes.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until onion is translucent.
  3. Mix cooked rice, chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, and cooked beef mixture in a bowl.
  4. Stuff each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture. Place stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
  5. Top each stuffed pepper with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until peppers are tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
