  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Peel and chop sweet potatoes, then boil until tender. Mash until smooth.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, butter, brown sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  3. Spread the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle marshmallows and pecans evenly over the top. Return to oven and bake until marshmallows are golden, about 5 minutes.
